Chaos was the buzz word at office that day and in the interim, I had already received three calls from the salon, asking me when I was coming in for my facial. I just about left on time, but the traffic seemed determined on NOT letting me reach on time.

I reached half an hour late and meekly smiled at Aleena, the owner. She offered me a glass of water, saying, "When you're young getting a facial is optional, but intake of fluids is a must! Because how are you going to get an outer glow if you don't have enough Vitamin E flow?"

After analysing my skin type, she recommended the Aqua Mudd Glow which includes de-tan and skin polishing masks. And since I have dark circles (because I work so hard), she suggested trying the Mudd Intensive Eye Treatment, which heals eye fatigue and dark circles.

She led me to the treatment room and my eyes lit up seeing a cozy massage bed. First, she checked my face under a huge microscope. I was happy to hear that I had few whiteheads and no blackheads and that while my skin was a little pale, it was healthy overall.

Next, a therapist came to exfoliate my skin and then apply a lemon extract-based polishing mask. It was followed by a brightening mask and an aloe massage. Then came the eye treatment which included a hydrating mask, which was especially for the fine lines around my eyes. I also got a neck and shoulder massage.

All this took about 90 minutes and I enjoyed every second of it. Indulgence may come with a price, but the price was worth it.
